TVET Month – Taking Colleges over in the month of August

TVET Month is one of the DHET’s pride and joys as this month plays a pivotal role in establishing the TVET Sector as one of the preferred choices for prospective students to obtain a qualification and further their education and training. 

Throughout the month of August, the 50 TVET College will be embarking on various activities that will be inviting the various stakeholders and prospective students to see what the TVET College Sector is all about.

Says Trish van der Merwe, Northlink College Deputy Principal: Innovation and Development , “In portraying the Colleges, as a preferred education and training provider, the prospective students could broaden their choice to better their future.”

All the seven campuses of Northlink College will be participating in the months activities that will be including the Annual Open Day on 17 August 2016 and an Work Integrated Learning (WIL) event that will see the employers of companies that we place our students and other prospective companies to explain to them what Norhtlink College is all about.
