Khoreesha, ready to take Media 24 and Suidoosterfees by storm

Khoreesha Singh, Performing Arts graduate student from Northlink College Tygerberg Campus, is getting closer to her dreams and learning more about her career and the entertainment industry. She received her diploma in Performing Arts at the annual college award ceremony in May of this year.
She never expected to get an opportunity to do her internship, but with the assistance of the college she was chosen to work as an intern for five months at Media24 on a project team for ‘Die Burger Suidoosterfees’. This event has become one of Cape Town’s traditions and is scheduled from 28 January 2014 – 2 February 2014.
The Suidoosterfees is a festival which consists of different entertainment ranging from music, visual arts, comedy and a lot more that takes place at different venues in the Mother City. Some of her duties will include assisting the team to arrange and plan the festival, where she will also acquire valuable industry knowledge.
“I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be working for such a big company on such a huge event, it is really a privilege,” says Khoreesha.
For now she is enjoying the internship and hope that it will open doors for her towards her vision of becoming a successful actress.
Northlink College would like to wish Khoreesha and all our interns placed in industry the best for their future.
