“Nadine Smit, a N4 Educare student at Goodwood Campus, made up and donated 31 Christmas boxes towards the NLC Shoebox Drive Project.

She celebrates her birthday next month, and requested everyone to rather donate a shoebox (in the age group we are catering for) instead of a present. Furthermore, Nadine also asked the people at the crèche where she is currently doing her practical and part-time place of work to all donate a shoebox.

The N4 Educare group is currently working on this as a project- and said their boxes would reach us soon under the guidance of Mrs Clarissa Swain (Lecturer).

We are extremely proud of her for the passion and dedication shown towards this project, and for striving to make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate.”
