Northlink College / Soitec Touwsriver students graduation 2014
15 Students received their certificates during a graduation at the Loganda Karoo Lodge on Friday 4 April 2014 as these students completed their training that will allow them to work on the Soitec site or in the electrical field.
For the past two years, Northlink College has been the training provider for French international solar energy company, Soitec and has seen students and members of the Touwsriver community being trained to work at the solar power plant project that Soitec is currently busy completing in the Karoo.
” Take what life gives you and don’t give up!” said Dion Miller, Northlink College Engineering Studies Projects Manager during his motivational speech at the ceremony.
The new group will be starting their block of studies in June of 2014 and we look to have another successful group of students from the community.
