Jesus Christ Superstar is a 1970 rock opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. It is based on the Bible’s account of the last week of Jesus’s life on earth. However the story gets told from a fictional, human perspective: that of Judas who possibly grappled with finding answers to the issues of the time as a human.

Northlink College Performing Arts Department students brought you Sarafina! in 2015 and Fiddler on the Roof in 2016.

Now come and see them in an authentic version of Jesus Christ Superstar and indulge in evergreen hits like “I don’t know how to love Him” and “Superstar”. (25-28 October 2017 at The Baxter Theatre, Cape Town)
