Mobile Marketing is definitely one of the buzz words that are being mentioned in the circles of the very experienced and knowledgeable marketing gurus. Even social media is one of the biggest mobile communication tools used today by people on the move. And due to the big increase in the need for mobile communication, Northlink College has taken its branding to the streets…literally.
Northlink College will be starting an extensive campaign that will see three Golden Arrow buses being branded by Northlink College that will be portraying their General Studies and Engineering Fields of study as well as a generic Northlink College branded bus.
Says Nolene De Costa, Northlink College Media and Events Officer: “In using this form of marketing we will be able to expose not only the Northlink brand, but encourage interaction and a sense of ownership with the students and other stakeholders.”
All the moveable advertising will be supported by a very innovative social media campaign and competition that will be done during the same period.
“The social media component of the campaign is the fun part and we hope that this will ignite more engagement with our fans,” adds De Costa
The three mentioned buses will be on the road in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and Cape Town CBD itself.
