Northlink College is gearing up to host WorldSkills SA local heats
“We are ready for this,”… just one of the many sentences that Sandra Schmidt, Northlink College Wingfield Campus Manager and part of the WorldSkills SA organising committee said when asked if the College is ready to host some of the local heats of this prestigious competition that will be taking place on 4 August 2016.
Northlink College, together with other TVET Colleges in the Western Cape, will be host to a number of skill competitions that will be formally part of the WorldSkills SA local heats. Northlink will host the following local heats:
- CNC Fitting and Machining
- Plumbing and heating
- Graphic Design
- IT Network Systems Administration
- IT Software solutions for business
- Web Design
- Cooking
- Bricklaying
From here, the students will be chosen that will be taken through to the national competition that will take place in Durban later this year.
