Educare courses at Northlink
College is just the study direction for you.
Here you are trained as an Educarer who can
educate the young child with love - who guides the infant,
toddler and pre-scholer through all his phases to develop into a
well-balanced individual ready for the demands of society. As an
Educare student you will already have the wonderful priviledge
of being part of the formative years of the pre-school child.
Dedicated staff members teach you, in a practical way, how best
to care for the child in totality.
The
ideal Educarer is a person who, beside her love for children, has
an impeccable character, high moral values and a sense of responsibility
in order always to set a good example.

EDUCARE AT THE COLLEGE
We offer individual coaching and remedial attention
to learners where needed. We have
facilities for research, as well as a practical in-service training
facilities and a library.
After completing your studies we provide information
to learners about Educare workshops and further education, and an Advanced
Certificate in ECD. We will help you find suitable work placements.

~ IN-SERVICE TRAINING
Regular attendance is necessary on certain pre-arranged
days at approved care centres. No student will be allowed to write final
examinations in Educare Didactics Theory and Practical unles he/she complies
with the minimum requirements. A detailed information sheet about practical
in-service training is given to each student.
~ PART-TIME STUDIES
If you are a working person, you can consider part-time
studies which will ensure the same qualification while earning a salary.
